What a retarded post.
95% of women do not have the option to be a stay at home mum. It has nothing to do with how 'dependable' the husband is and everything to do with wider economic conditions.
In Australia the median fulltime income will qualify you for a loan of approx $450k. But the median home price nation wide is $1 million, with starter homes costs around $700k. It's even worse in places like Sydney where the median income will get you a $500k loan, but the median house price is $1.6 million and you need $850k to get just a two bedroom apartment.
Anyway the point is that women have to work. You need dual income to qualify for a home loan in this country. I know it's not as bad in the US, but its getting there, and if you have any lifestyle ambitions (which most women have) then you need both parents to be working.
So this whole post is just some delusion that assumes women are choosing to work out of some fear that their man will either ditch them or be suddenly become unable to financially support them. This is not the reality.
