How much longer can this maintain?
I’ve reached the point where successfully getting up in the morning, getting to work on time, and finishing the first 2/3rds of my shift without crashing out and torpedoing my career is a genuine accomplishment

It depends on how long you can avoid the thoughts of being a slave to the system.

If you crash out they win.

My life is literally go to work come home watch an hour of something pass out wake up go to work
My job is also incredibly repetitive so my work schedule is consistently the same loop every day
I barely scrape 30 hours doing it due to budget issues
Just one big fucking loop where I make literally the same amount as my bills.
I have nothing to look forward to and nothing to live for.
Had a phone interview on Tuesday that went very well and got a positive response email that night after sending a THANK YOU EMAIL LIKE A FUCKING SERF and now I’m just waiting for a callback that I’m convinced won’t happen

Is the elimination of the technological system
worth all of the desperate risks and terrifying disasters that it will entail?
If you don't have the courage to answer "yes" to that question, then you'd
better quit whining about the evils and hardships of the modern world
and just adapt yourself to them as best you can, because nothing short of
the collapse of the system will ever get us off the road that we are on now

I did this and then they turned me down anyway and reposted the job. It wasn't even a sketchy place it was literally a government-run public-private organization. Then I got a lower-tier job with them and recently applied to the same job again, now having a few months of experience. Dead silence.
