F-35 The Symbol of U.S. Rot
Nothing really highlights the decay of U.S. society like the failure of the F-35 program. This fucking thing is STILL not combat ready. This program was promised to save costs, and streamline everything. Instead, the program will cost over 2 TRILLION fucking dollars. F-35s were supposed to be 35 million a piece and have cheap flight time. They are 90 million have cost twice as much to fly vs the f-15/f-18. - And the thing is a fucking piece of shit.

The U.S. scrapped the f-22 because it was too expensive. only built 187 vs. the intended 750 planned. Only to light money on fire with this hunk of shit f-35. The f-35 doesn't even have that great of stats. Its fucking slow, performance numbers are below f-15/f-18, it only has stealth, with a shitty coating that breaks all the time. All it's sensor tech could have been put in existing planes or drones.

The U.S. could have literally saved a trillion dollars by continuing the f-22 program, and updating existing planes. -which, they had to upgrade anyway because the f-35 is so behind. That's why the f-15ex exists. Literally, every 2024 delivery was fucking late. The truly sad part is, having all those f-22s and upgraded 4th gens would have been a superior fighting force.

What a symbol for U.S. incompetence and waste.

Congrats on your 30 pieces of silver.
All that you had to exchange for this financial boon was to exterminate your children's future, betray your nation, ruin the country, pave over your traditionally maintained history and culture, and sell out to thieves and enemies in exchange for jewpaper and numbers on a screen.
Thankfully with these newfound riches you can purchase items of declining quality assembled by brown scab workers with the built-in planned obsolescence included free of charge so you can be forced to replace it, like a sucker, with another item of inferior quality which will break even faster than the last one.

Jews and Hindus will ALWAYS place their loyalty to India/Israel and their filthy cults first and foremost. Most defense contractors are wary about hiring Asians for this reason, but jews and hindus are much worse and no one seems to talk about it. i can't be fucked getting into the weeds about how much you niggers don't know about anything, because fuck me i'd be here all day. regarding the f-35, i'll point out that the 2 trillion dollars is for the entire lifetime of the program, that is, 70 years. inflation adjusted flyaway cost is almost right on the money as well. you guys are just too young and lazy to dive into 30 years of program and you're also retarded.

as for the a-10, the a-10 is getting replaced because it doesn't work how you think it does. all close air support was driven to medium altitude in the 80s, because low and slow gets you killed now. this was known shortly after the a-10 entered service. for its entire career the a-10 has had to fight at medium altitude along with the f-16 and everyone else. it only got to go low after the war turned to counter insurgency. it's so slow it's low on fuel by the time it gets to station, because it was intended to fly along with the armored spear, not catch up to hajis in a hilux somewhere in sector. even in afghanistan, the b-1 lancer did more close air support; close air support is how close your munition lands to your own guys, not how low to the ground you are. the f-111 killed more tanks in gulf 1. every other air-frame also out-sortied it. it survived because it was built in mccain's district.

the gun is not cheap, about half a million dollars to load, the ammunition is crazy expensive per round. to put that into perspective, a jdam kit is about 20k. you can put that on a 2,000lb bomb. a 2000lb jdam is more accurate than the gun is. psychological impact isn't a thing, because you need living enemies to be impacted and if they're still alive you fucked up. the payload of the a-10 is small and it still has to fly at medium altitude with the rest to do its job. there is no more room in the air frame, which is about 50 years old now, for any more upgrades. the engines don't generate enough electricity to power new radar.

>>520367499
Anduril lies through their teeth constantly and that 556 days figure is complete bullshit. The YFQ-44A is adapted from a target drone designed by a company called Blue Force Technologies that they bought a couple years ago. The design work on that target drone designed started around 2016. It’s far from clean sheet while also being a much less capable design than GA’s offering, let alone designs being made ready for CCA Inc.2. It can’t even carry AMRAAMs internally and isn’t even remotely a stealth platform.
>>520367721
F-22 is a far less capable strike aircraft because its internal bays can only accommodate weapons up to the size of 1klbs bombs, while the F-35 can fit a 2klbs bomb and an AMRAAM in each bay.

Also all of Europe is buying F-35's, so clearly America won.

I haven’t seen a single per unit estimate that places the F-35 anywhere near the unit cost of an F-22. The F-22 was drastically more expensive per plane. The total estimated program cost of the F-35 is higher because they are planning to build over 3000 of them and keep them in service through the 2070s, while under 200 F-22s were built and the Air Force is already considering retiring the earliest blocks of them because they aren’t sure they are worth the cost to upgrade to them.

If it were crucial defense tech like the f22, rq180, sr72 or NGAD it wouldn't be exported to other nations. It was meant to replace planes like the f15 and the a10. If all you wanted was a stealth craft that delivers bombs then unironically the F35 as it was unveiled 19 years ago would have been fine for that. The whole problem with the jet is these roles it is supposed to fill because it is a jack of all trades, master of none. The story back then was that it was inferior to the F16 in a dog fight when they tested it. The airforce couldn't justify buying a DOWNGRADE in air capability. That's why they stuffed all this meme technology into it in an attempt to make up for what is objectively a poor performing air frame. The half a million dollar helmet that conflicted with the canopy is a good example, where if the helmet was a part of the original design, this never would have happened.

Snow found its way into a hydraulic fluid reservoir meaning there was water contamination in the hydraulic lines once pumped into the plane. This then led to the lines freezing and locking certain control surfaces in place, leading to the plane believing it was on the ground and not behaving as it would if it knew it was flying. IIRC this eventually led to the pilot losing control of the plane entirely and forcing an ejection. Basically they never considered the ground crew fucking up how they did when writing the flight software and that caused the crash.
>>520381798
That was something the media made up when they were still proving the flight envelope for the F-35. It was electronically limited from maneuvering to its full capability because they had yet to prove the plane would behave the same irl as it did in their simulations. Now that that’s done the F-35 is generally described as having a good mix of the sustained turn of an F-16 with the nose authority of a Hornet. It also has a massive advantage in that it doesn’t need to carry three large drop tanks to have useful range, carries its AMRAAMs internally so doesn’t take a drag penalty, and of course is stealth so it can detect the non stealth F-16 at a range multiple times higher than an F-16 can hope to detect it. It is a much more capable aircraft c

You're a fucking retard with no reading comprehension. Enjoy the paypig slop.

The magnitude of incompetence surrounding the f-35 program can't be understated. The U.S. lit a trillion dollars on fucking fire.

You've already been btfo in your own thread. A few months ago Israel demonstrated that you're wrong about everything. It's the only point that needed to be made. The thread is over.

Now this thread is about making fun of you .

it's the fucking nip saying nothing again.

I keep telling you to learn how to fucking read, because it's obvious what a clueless retard you are. The U.S. didn't need the f-35 to do anything Israel has done. You dumb fucking faggot. The f-22 is a superior stealth fighter in nearly every way. that's the fucking point, you stupid fucking nip.
