If I were going to invade a planet, I sure as fuck would want to know where my enemy’s armaments are. Based on observations of their surveillance over the decades, it’s pretty logical to assume that yes they’re scoping out nuclear capabilities (the royal we; as in all humans), which would be ‘strike first’ positions. It’s also quite timely because both Russia and the US want to start nuke testing back up. If nukes are what they’re surveying then it could mean two things: they’re scared of them (which then means they’re our best weapon against them - maybe their weakness is radiation? Fukushima irradiating the pacific would certainly drive them out if that were the case). Or they’re surveying because they do t want the nuclear faloht, which then means to say they want to occupy the earth after the war. Cool sci-fi story either way. Big doubt in actual occurrence, but if it were to happen, I’m pretty ready for it.
