Does the browning of America mean that kids just don't trick or treat anymore? Sorry if I'm retarded, I'm drunk, but this is very disappointing because I just wanted to make kids happy.

Don't feel bad anon. Trick or treating is dying. Only wealthy affluent neighborhoods see a lot of trick or treaters. It's all about trunk or treat or whatever where parents and kids hang out in a parking lot with candy to hand out/receive.

Pretty much the same in my neighborhood. My neighbors a few houses down built a haunted house in their front yard. They posted it to a fscebook haunted house group. They were the only house with visitors. The visitors arrived by car and drove off without hitting up houses for treats.

During the two hours allowed for trick-or-treat, I had four kids stop by and one junkie who flipped his car and landed in the pond behind my house. There are syringes floating around in the water.

Some unknown kids threw fruit at all the muscle cars, I'm so proud of this neighborhood

I live on a state highway and over half the surrounding houses are boomers, but there's a neighborhood by one of the elementary schools we've gone to that gets a lot of kids.
