I have long hair but I find it super annoying, a bit scratchy and it gets in the way of my eyes and mouth constantly. I also don’t really know how to style it so I just keep in tied up all day. Any advice?

I keep mine at a 2 on the sides with my beard trimmed to the same length and the top is long but well maintained, I do my own hair. Mom died a while back and I got her hair genes, so I keep it long because it reminds me of her.

Long hair is cool, but it's only novel when you're in your teens/20s. I did the whole long hair thing from 18-27. When you're about 30, you'll realize that long hair, while not feminine, requires a lot of time-wasting care/maintenance, which does lean more feminine. Long hair only looks cool when it's all greasy and fucked up, which is why wrestlers always wet their hair. I think wrestling is gay, but I get the point of why they do what they do.

It's not so much about alopecia as it is about breakage. It gives you wispies at the edge of your hairline that are a pain in the ass when it's windy. They have a tendency to go right for my eyeballs and take forever to grow back.
