The fundamental crisis right now is scrolling.
If you take facebook, for example, there is always pornography lurking in the background, but you can infinitly scroll on and on, endlessly, so this is the main trap - your attention.
If you take the younger generation, people who are currently in their 20s, they grew up with cell phones in their hand, and because of the endless scrolling, they never learned how to read. Technically, you have to read to operate a cell phone, but what I mean by reading is what Marshall McLuhon would refer to as "print technology", this technology, the electronic technology, is in many ways the antithesis of print technology, because its constantly distracting you.
You're constantly beng distracted.
You don't have the distance from the ideas that print technology allows. As as result, you cannot form the proper categories. If you cannot form the proper categories, you will have other people imposing their categories on you. This is precisely the crisis in this generation. They have created an identity, they are commissars out there who create identities for deracinated, confused, young people. Nick Fuentes being one of them, maybe the most famous one.
