If they ask for tax money and you have money to be taxed, give it to them. If they ask for tax money and you have no money to be taxed, perhaps you should think about revolting.

The Jews were constantly attempting to bait Jesus Christ into saying something that the Romans would’ve killed him for saying. They were basically the antiquity version of a glownigger. Jesus gets around this by saying “render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s” as a way of skirting around the answer. Obviously there are those that believe in Caesar’s rule and will pay taxes and those who don’t will not.

The vibes have to match. Anything said definitely in the Bible should be lived definitely and anything said indirectly or if it's not one to one should be treated as such. The verse just is what it is and "the word of God is flawless".
