I got PERMANENTLY BANNED for saying veganism is a white people thing. That was literally it. I appealed it and got immediately unbanned. Retarded admins. It was in a veganism debate sub too.

I also got a 7 day ban for posting in a dating advice sub. A roastie was asking if it was worth it to wait for her prince charming. I posted something like:

I got banned from r/whitepeopletwitter for explaining what conservatives mean by the word 'woke'. Literally the subject of the thread was 'what do conservatives even mean when they say woke?'. Apparently the answer you were supposed to give was 'they don't even know, they're so stupid, hahaha'.

Best part was, I knew that, and I predicted that I would get banned for giving an actual answer.

Reddit is ten times worse than that, too. I had a female-sounding username and I kept getting bombarded with messages from pedos and furries. Then, I changed it to a more male-sounding name to keep pedos and furries away, and I kept getting attacked by vicious anti-male, lesbians, activists and radicals for no reason. Third time, I changed it to something more innocuous so people wouldn't get triggered.

I first heard about Reddit in high school in 2012. I started on r/trees because that's what my friends were mainly looking at. I branched out from there. I quickly realized how cringe the community was. It didn't take long for me to realize that it was just a bunch of millennial dorks who were still seething about not being cool in high school. Massive egos, geeky interests, passive aggressive, karma whoring. It was definitely more organic because you could sense the exact type of person they were by their comments and posts.
