nta, most people knew that Mamdami was going to win in NY. The bad economic numbers aren't even really Trump's fault, but he's doing a really poor job of limiting AI in the US. Realistically he should be trying to pass something to limit the number of AI jobs replacing human jobs and I say this as a MAGA enthusiast myself. AI is a problem for US jobs and it needs to be addressed soon. But these elections aren't really a good showing of the political climate because all of these races leaned Democrat to begin with.
