To go to heaven, you HAVE TO accept Jesus. Jesus is so gracious and merciful that it's not so important if you sin in your life, as long as you accept Jesus.

But a good, kind person who doesn't accept Jesus won't go to heaven.

aagreement bump if the only reason u dont do things that are bad is cause of consequence then u support doing bad things. you should not need the threat of bad things happening to you, to be averse to doing bad things. u should not do bad things, even tho bad things happen to and around you. let your morals be unwavering regardless of the circumstances.

you dont go to hell for doing the wrong thing, you go to hell for rejecting Jesus.
the people during noahs time didn't get destroyed by the flood for being evil (they were evil), they were destroyed for not entering the ark.
noah preached to the people for a long time, as he built the ark, yet they never believed him, neither building their own ark, nor helping noah build his.

you reject Jesus, you end up lock out of the ark, sitting on rising water (or a lake of fire), you damn yourself.
doing good works is part of the evidence that you have believed and have entered the ark.
