Why is nobody talking about the fact that Terminator 2 was about an AI program that controlled robots becoming self-aware and declaring war against human beings? Does nobody see the risks that lie ahead for humanity? Are we all a bunch of fucking retards?

Modern computers are hundreds of years away from being developed enough to support AI on the level of Skynet. We first have to make quantum computing a worldwide mature ecosytem, because the binary system we use now sure as shit can't facilitate real AI.
What we have now is advanced copy paste machine learning algorithms, calling them AI is what tech illiterates started.
