Fruits and vegs that you like/tolerate eating raw.
For me, these are royal gala apples and carrots. Carry an apple corer and a peeler and you can enjoy them anywhere. Ideally this will substitute those more expensive processed snacks.
Pasta and Noodles are probably also good. I assume pasta sauce is expensive, so I'd opt for making your own sauce
Bread/frozen food is handy for quick food.

No it does not. It can only be used at EBT locations (Typically grocery stores, but also some convenience stores and in some places restaurants).
It is enough to live comfortably on if you are careful about what you buy and when. I was on it for a number of months when I lost my job. The trick is to shop for meat that has two or three days left before "expiration" because they mark it down significantly and the "expiration" date has fine print that says "Use or Freeze By", so you buy a bunch and freeze it and it stays good.
