Using those profits his descendants funded and created the others across Europe. When the czar in Russia turned them away he started funding anti Russian groups, like the Bolsheviks, to destabilize Russia. They were a geographical convenience for the monarch, but they never wielded any real power.

In the same way the monarchs of Europe were dependent on them for their trade network, today the US is dependent on them because they run the financial institutions.

Leading up to the French Revolution, the peasants were no longer forced to perform free labour for the hereditary nobility while being taxed by private tax collectors. The tax farmers only collected taxes on specific goods, such as tobacco and salt, which were set up as a form of customs. I do know about Charles but what happened to him was revenge for Edward's expulsions. It was by comparison a minor event in the constant struggle against international jewry. England, and the British Isles could have been recovered and saved. The old structures were weakened but they still existed. The French 'revolution' overturned 1300 years of Christendom in western Europe being the dominant force and was almost irreversible, if Napoleon had not failed.
