Worse yet, they've effectively made us stupid through dumbing down the programming over the course of decades.
There used to be laws mandating a certain percentage of time spent to classics, regardless if anyone watched them. They went for westerns in the 60s and just shit up everything.
Try watching a single episode of Three's Company or Friends or whatever that dumbfuck Bazinga bs was.
Then imagine being a child essentially raised on that when your brain is at max absorption for lifetime mythological meaning making and worldview creation.
Like keeping a goldfish in a baggie their entire lives.
