Reminder its still a theory, widely accepted one, but still a theory. Im ready to bite the bullet and say that Serbs come from Africa, but why push this onto Western Europeans and other Eurasians. They use this theory to pave the way for genetics babbling about how very first humans in Europe were identical in physiognomy to Sub-Saharan Africans. Look anons i love the right of conquest, but white people are native to these places, no blacks were opressed and conquered here especially in the northern colder places like British isles and Scandinavia. For how long will this be considered a valid thing in science.

Reminder that scientifically illiterate people do not understand the difference between hypothesis and theory in science. A hypothesis has no evidence going for it. A theory is a model of explanation for something we've measured objectively. For example, gravity is a fact. Gravitational theory is our best explanation for it. Evolution is a fact. Evolutionary theory is our explanation to how it works.
Similarly, the fact that people originate from Africa is an observation based on evidence. The oldest human remains, and the most human ancestral remains. Simple as. There haven't been any human remains older than those found in Africa outside of Africa.

Fair enough, but there isn't really proof of humans originating from elsewhere.
Also, fossils sitting in drawers for years hardly matter, that's a question of low funding for research; there's too much shit to research and not enough researches. The age of the fossils doesn't change with them sitting at shelves. And our understanding of fossils, dinosaurs etc. has developed over the years also because of us having better means of studying them and finding more shit constantly. I'd also like to add that the only kind of "political climate" interfering with scientific research at the moment is a conservative one, and it's happening via further defunding of science that they don't like.

Would you believe me that i have witnessed once a comment section where two users claimed completely opposite things. One claimed that

They both were strong in their beliefs and they all had "proof" backed by modern science as they said. Both had a discussion centered on Europe`s matters and how Europe came to be while claiming completely opposite things and they both will call as higher the intelligence ladder you go, that they have experts confirming their claims. That is why i am very catious about approaching this theme, personally i dont have definitive answer and just jokingly said that both and all populations within Europe`s geographical range were white, but its like they didnt have reading comprehensions and they kept blindly advocating these two stances. There is a instinctual and racial agenda each population on this planet pushes and white populations seem to constantly shoot themselves in the foot. Look as i said i do believe in right of conquest and i can settle on white Indo-Europeans conquering dark skinned natives of Europe, but there is also the other part of this narrative that goes jokingly "White people came from space, we are actual aliens".

"Out of Africa" means two different things. The first being the evolution and expansion of hominids, which is not completely understood but hypothesised to originate somewhere from Africa, but the oldest Hominin specimens were found in modern Greece. That is many millions of years ago.
The second out of Africa migration is Homo sapiens, which is supported by a fuckton of evidence to have evolved in East Africa and expanded from there. However, other hominins did already exist across the world already which sapiens assimilated or genocided, and it didn't happen in one wave, but multiple over hundreds of thousands of years.

It's where the oldest Homo Spaiens fossils are found. That said the oldest are now 4x the age pf when the previous where found and in Morroco. In all likelihood we evolved around the Sahara sea (when it existed) and migrated down and out from there.

OOA is scientific consensus, that the first humans looked like Bantus is not and is simply an aesthetic decision. However it is extremely likely that the first humans were dark skinned.

That said, the recent developments in OOA paint a more complicated picture than previously thought. It was originally believed that all previous human migrations before the final one that populated the world has failed and gone extinct, but we now know the penultimate one was actually pushed back into Africa by a glacial period.

All non-African populations and many East African populations descend from the product of this group intermingling with humans who stayed in East Africa. Consequently, all non-Sub-Saharan Africans are closely related. Even Aborigines and Brits are more closely related to each other than to Bantus.

Understand that the misuse of science for propaganda does not invalidate the underlying science. The real takeaway in regards to human evolution is that large differences in cognition and appearance developed in a very short time frame under heavy selective pressure.

Africans were limited in their cognitive development by relatively high archaic hominin admixture, but more importantly, non-Africans were advantaged by their environment.

Lack of disease load freed energy to be spent elsewhere. Seasonal variations benefitted the more intelligent over the physically hardy. All humans outside of Africa benefitted from this, but especially the ones who travelled into the steppe.
