It's a Piper j3 cub on floats. I've had it for almost ten years now, but I've never flown it. I bought it because of my uncle, long story. It's been sitting at my dock ever since. I got drunk once and took it on a ride around the bay. Tried to fly it, almost crashed, fwc came and told me if they ever saw me fucking with the plane again they would take me to jail. They towed me back to the dock. I haven't fucked with it since, that was probably five years ago.

Start your license. It's about as complicated as getting a CDL too get to the point of flying. The big catch is you need an instructor, and renting a plane. You own one so plan for 100-400 and hour for flight instructors.
A piper cub should only require a sports license, link is where to start.

Picked up a challenger II a few years ago and slowly getting flight hours. Got signed off for solos after about 30 hours, that took about 6 months of weekend flights around the area. Fly-ins mostly, think car meetups but for small planes, usually flying to a private runway or small town one and a pancake breakfast.
