Well, no one died, probably the 000 line going down was worse.
Call me a Pajeet all you want (Hindu gods are spoopy, those idiots gave me food poisoning too many times, burning dung cakes just spreads e coli and black mould) but I don't understand going to a develping country and being like "oh it's so shit!"
It's obsequious to concetrate your hate on India for being, well, India. It's like you've been sheltered from what it's like in a country with struggling people, daft bureacracy, pollution and poverty.
Indians should be angry with their leadership for not making India a bit more livable, safe, clean at least.
But Anglo-Celtic Australians, where should we direct our ire? It doesn't matter who it is is year, wages are suppressed and competiton driven up by a never ending flow of people from increasingly opposed places... Indians just jump on the opportunity (and it's writ large in some behaviours that they don't care a wit about "Australian values").
You guys need to direct your newfound understanding that the West isn't perfect but it's fucking paradise compared to many places and lobby your officials, drve for change in a coherent and measured way.
Anything else is just re engaging with your disgust sensitivity over and over and over again and seething.
You also don't understand that for all the whining about rightwing elements, Modi dudes are a rightwing element. They have some crazy fucken ideas about their manifest destiny - they admitted there was espionage going on here. It's more serious than especially fragrant Uber drivers. And I'd say the same about Israel an China no doubt too. Iran and Russia are too busy buttfucking to be good at espionage, just look at the shithole called 4cope
