cont.
a housing would need to be made for the cattle, separating the cows from the rest, it'd need to be made draft proof, but the animals dont need to be housed in all winter, just during the storms, being given liberty to enter and leave during the day, and closing them off (or making it so they can open/close the door) at night/during storm
obviously, cleaning their pens is a must in the winter, but that dung should always be saved to fertilize the soil in the spring.
just repeat the cycle.
>spring
plow/fertilize/seed/check growth
take cattle out to pasture
open chicken/pigeon coop (never house the two together in same closed area)
feed/water once a day, check up on animals throughout the day
>summer
everything above +
birthing (cows/sheep/goats) and maybe harvest of summer crops
>autumn
everything +
you'll need to start the last harvest and stocking up on feed for the animals
>winter
there may be some birthing if you didn't separate the males during autumn or late summer, but for the most part you'll be feeding/watering and cleaning,
once you understand the cycle, it all becomes automatic
wake up
paddock
check up on animals
release them out to pasture
water crop (turn on watering system, saturate the soil if its a hot dry season)
do work around farm, fixing, etc
check up on animals at midday
turn off water
bring them supplement feed if need
go home for lunch/take break
check up on plants (that they aren't wilted by sun)
check up on animals
do something else (menial tasks to make some money on the side, reading, hobby, etc)
check up on animals in the evening
bring them back in to paddock
rest of the evening/night is free.
once you get used to it, it becomes nothing in your daily life, since you're just doing thing at your own pace, no manager, no boss, nothing.
you're just living.
