Not really. The army is ‘hoping’ to switch to the M7, so they’re not buying many M4s anymore. That said, they did spend some cash last year on a bunch of Colt manufactured M4s.

A fun fact about the FN M4 is that it’s actually still a Colt weapon; Colt owns the rights to the M4 and while other companies can make M4s, but only under government contract, these other companies have to cut Colt checks for using their patent. So no matter who wins a contract, Colt gets paid.
