the main issue is that EVERYONE is being isolated from what is really going on at the front
all those private telegram channels or discord servers are controlled information channels.

the main question is why did the war not escalate already
who are the ones that are containing it

I think we're silo'd from the russians.
The internet seems real quiet these days.
Even on here it seems we're only talking to 66 people.

Like each of us is on a node, each node has a facimilie of the public internet. But we can only reach a limited number of people without going through "main" points such as facebook, or amazon, or ebay.

Cirnosad noted that after toropets: all the "russian" friends he had online turned at once all against him and said he was lying.
The russians and ukranians he grew up with were totally different: nice people.

20 years ago we could spoof any IP on the switch using Ettercap.
These russian flags etc probably are not. They really feel like american english to me.
