He should have been slowly transitioned to the mouthless mask over a couple of weeks, just take the old mask with the mouth and have some sloppy cuts on it one week, next week make the cuts a little more accurate and neat looking, next week, more accurate cuts, finally the Raw before a PPV, come out with the mouthless mask. Doesn't even to have to do matches, keeps the audience on his side, gets to transition to something he likes, and yes, they jobbed him too much. Should have had a significant title run.
