We all know the sport is fake. There is no longer any Sid Vicious or Big Bossman type characters to squash people. If I have to watch midgets they might as well be funny. I’m not gonna take some skinny fat midget seriously as a shoot combat sport mauler.

Kenny used to tell his Harley Race wrestling school story alot. At first he kept it pretty respectful and by the last few tellings he would do a Harley Race impression and make him out to be basically senile and retarded. Johnny Ace was also there and so was Kenta Kobashi and the way Kenny tells the story, Ace and Kobashi ignored any and all things Race would say and treated him as an out of touch old retard. Race immediately disliked Omega I guess and Johnny Ace thought he had potential.
I think found those stories very disrespectful and also if Harley immediately disliked something about him that maybe there is something to it. Plus I just don’t think Corny likes these 7 star super spot feats where guys are kipping up from moves that should kill you. Which is weird because Corny was an OG tape trader and understands Jap wrestling and fighting spirit.

This is entirely thanks to everyone who could fit the bill getting truly wise to the business and realizing there is zero fucking point in even bothering with pro wrestling as a form of income because the WWE was just a giant humiliation ritual and everyone other promotion paid jack fucking shit. So what was left was average and small guys desperate to be taken seriously.
