The difference is that punk was brought into the ufc because he made a big stink about wanting to do it, and Dana White saw money in bringing in punk to a ppv. It didn't matter that he wasn't trained, all that mattered was the cash it was going to bring in. Hell, the second time he fought, they gave him a jobber named Michael Jackson- hoping punk would do better. He did, but Jackson's stoned ass still made punk look like a bitch. I wouldn't hate on punk and his fans so much, if he showed the slightest bit of humility during the build up to these matches, and people stopped pretending like he earned his way onto the card with his skill.
