Tag team wrestling is dogshit because every match is the exact same formula..I've seen 4000 "hot tags" I literally don't care anymore

Dax is right actually. Look at some of the best matches in the last 5 years.. FTR vs Jay White and Juice Robinson, Omega and Hangman vs the Bucks, FTR vs the Briscoes, FTR vs Aussie Open and then if you go further back you've got Bucks vs Kenny and Ibushi, FTR vs American Alpha and all the awesome tag matches we got in the 90s and early 90s. Tag wrestling was always a favourite of mine and some of the best matches ever are tag matches.

Bucks are good. Unironically in terms of versatility and teamwork skill they are currently the best tag team and arguably the greatest tag team in wrestling, at the very least top 3 of all time.
They managed to make dimeless shitters like Private Party look good, and made an FTR match non boring to watch. The only other team that managed that last part were the Briscoes.

NAO was only top card as heels against Rock, to build him further, never as faces. Sole tag teams have never been the show closers, only Hall and Nash were actual main event guys, and that was only when Hogan wasn't working. Steiners, Tully and Arn, even the Road Warriors weren't consistently closing shows. The Shield was different. Kane and Taker, the Harts, the Freeebirds, the list goes on. Tag team wrestling just isn't meant to be THE draw
