2.9 million viewers is for the entire 7-day period. Wrestlenomics has the estimate at 1.6 million viewers watch it live+SD in the US. He has how he came up with that number on the top. He specifies it is just an estimate.

Live viewership is important to Netflix because that is the most ads they feed, at least in the USA. I think other countries don't get ads like we do.
