How exactly did they pave the way for anyone? Their prime was being the designated 5 minute pissbreak when the higher ups didn't even pretend to give a fuck about them and the best woman during that period was AJ Lee, not these dimeless fucks. If anything, Steph should unironically be thanking Triple H because he's the one who pushed for women's wrestling to be taken more seriously in the WWE. You just know that the women are scoffing inside for being forced to thank these bitches for absolutely nothing.

The "WWE women's revolution" and pushing the 4 Horsewoman and shit came from the Bella Twins politicking to Stephanie McMahon. This was the third women's revolution in the company behind the Medusa vs Joshi feuds of the 90s and Fit Finlay and Chris Benoit making sure Trish Stratus and her opponent of the month were trained enough to be interesting in the ring almost as a joke.

>The "WWE women's revolution" and pushing the 4 Horsewoman and shit came from the Bella Twins politicking to Stephanie McMahon.
You're falling for WWE propoganda. Stephanie McMahon didn't give a shit about the women's division outside of burying all of the other women until she saw a PR opportunity with Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch going into Mania 32. Triple H, Dusty Rhodes, and the rest of the people at NXT actually put in the work to make women's wrestling in the WWE more serious.

>"Mark Henry saw me on YouTube, doing CrossFit. My sister-in-law saw it and texted me. I was like, 'That's fake, that's not real.' It was before Instagram had the blue checks. He actually messaged me and asked me, 'Have you ever thought of being a WWE wrestler?' That's when I realized it was real," said Belair. "A couple weeks before that, I started telling my mom...Total Divas was out and I started watching it and that's what got my attention. I told my mom, 'I think I wanna be a wrestler.' I went to the website to enter my information, but I never did it. Then, after Mark Henry contacted me, I was like, 'This is either too good to be true or it's perfect.' He told me, 'I can get you a tryout, but you have to do the rest.' He made it clear that he thought that I had what it took. He believed in me and got me a tryout."

She got into wrestling through 2000s WWE, then she was actually in the business so of course she kept watching and enjoying it
Still though, seeing as she's also a wrestling nerd who watches pretty much anything with wrestling in it, we can assume that the Bellas aren't exactly on her top 10 list of inspirational figures
but what else is she gonna say when they give her a nice interview after botching her name

Nope. If Paige and Emma were called up and being booked in 3 mintue piss break matches it didn't matter who followed or how good they were. As if the previous generation of women didn't have talented names in there as well. It was never about how good the women were. Hell, Michelle McCool and Melina were told they were wrestling "too good" and to dumb it down at one point. It took the Bella saying fuck you when they found out they were given a 2-3 minute tv match and shoving it back in the company's face by planning with Emma and Paige to make a point by ending it in 30 seconds in protest which brought enough attention to it by fans to start calling out the women's booking and finally kickstart the changes that have come since

Anon I don't want to do this but you have to know.

Stephanie is 32. This means she was 15 at 2008. Roughly around the era when the Bellas started wrestling.

She didn't grow up with Lita or Trish or the attitude era because that was waaaaaaay too long ago.

Your childhood was almost 30 years ago anon. You're no longer the people on the now. You're past that time. Time to move on.

You can start making a point anytime you want fuckhead, in the meantime, "paving the way" in 2008 is basically being the only women around on screen in WWE, so that's that
Whether she likes them or not doesn't matter one bit to this conversation that you seem to have hard time following
Paving the way means just that, first their were women, and now there are more, if you've got something deeper to extract from that go ahead
