He specifically shits on the concept of multi night main events. He 100% is of the old school mind that Mania is 1 night and has 1 Main Event. And all the recently tacked on Saturday Mania Day 1s don't 'really' count if you main event those. It's the Sunday night closing match. The actual over final match that happens at that year's Mania.

CM Punk had 2 contracts with AEW, and thus 2 salaries. One contract/salary as a performer/wrestler, 1099 independent contractor. And the other seemingly was a 'consultant' role, possibly with some kind of Exec title. Remember the line from the Brawl Out meltdown

I don't think people fully appreciate the magnitude of the KWABing he inflicted upon himself by destroying that level of a sweetheart deal that he negotiated out of a promoter who worshipped the ground he walked on. He had it made. He was getting paid A LOT of money in AEW.

Came to WWE with 0 negotiation leverage compared to how hard he was able swindle TK for the 2 contract deal, Punk is 100% making less money now than he was making in AEW, and what could have made over the 3-5 years if he had just not been such a violent spastic chimp who can't control his emotions and anger.
