Yoko could move like a cat. He could swat your face with a kick like he just saw a fly. The bonsai drop was terrifying, especially just seeing his ginormous bulbous misshapen unholy ass dropping down on you.

When you guys ask about older wrestling you need to just understand vibes were better. Most people thought it was real. So they would accept a lot of stuff people would consider boring now due to a perceived legitimacy. And there’s a lot of stuff that’s standard now that the fans back then would have seen right through and would no longer be wrestling fans.

Saw him at a WWF house show shortly before he got fired for being too fat. By that point I think he was over 700 pounds, easily the biggest man I have ever seen. It was just unreal to see someone that huge, guy was like a damn rhinoceros. There's also a cool story from one of Vader's shoot interviews where he talks about him and Yokozuna being sent to fat camp and sneaking out for cheeseburgers every night. Something about the thought of Vader and Yokozuna escaping from fat camp together is just hilarious to me.

He was apparently very athletic and a great worker for his size. Didn't take long until he was too fucking fat to do almost anything so he got dropped down the card and eventually fired

Antidraw and not even good by fat fucker standards. The best thing was the gimmick.

He was a big and scary looking guy who could move well, similar to Jacob Fatu. But he got more limited as his weight increased. He was already being pushed as a main eventer in other promotions before he got to WWF.

It's just eugenics. The Fatu/Anoai' family just has the genes for being fat guys who move well. If Zilla Fatu can keep out of trouble, he'll be the next Fatu to get big in WWE.

Owen and Yoko was a good tag team
