She doesnt know how to have a match unless she's wrestling as the aggressor. She's a borderline midget but she wants to do nothing but powermoves and no sells. Her selling in NXT was shit, but because of Booker it didn't get addressed. She doesnt sell for anyone, and she didn't take powermoves from opponents ever in NXT. She would always reverse them or escape. I dont know how she thinks she can be a heel or face at her size and not sell. The crowd isnt invested because all of her shit looks ridiculous. Her match against Jade was the worst match this year.

Yeah it's weird and schizophrenic but that's the whole booking of the women division and especially recent NXT call-ups, like Giulia was inadvertently buried because they seemingly have no idea what to do with her, Stephanie is protected because they know she's the next big thing but they don't know what to do with her either, Iyo is on vacation, and there's that weird parallel universe with Becky and Lyra and it takes literally half the time women get on these shows for nothing whatsoever, I don't get it. Then there's smackdown, I don't usually watch the women segments there but it seems like more of the same bullshit.
Problem is, the roster is bloated, and they're trying their best not to bury anyone but they should send half of it on vacation and give actual screentime to the ones people want to see.

I dont think she sells anywhere near enough for anyone, especially for her size. Her selling involves just laying there. She doesnt make any face, show any pain, and occasionally fixes her hair. The only time she gets animated is when she's on offense. The shit of grabbing chicks by the hair and manhandling them just buries them and her at the same time. No on one reacts because it's just a dumb visual. Someone like Liv who started as a jobber and earned her role, is better off because that helped her understand what she needed to do. Roxanne thinks people are coming to pay to see her piledrive Rhea or pull Cena level 1 on 4 matches and not letting her opponents get any offense in.

Steph learned to sell in a couple of months. Roxanne was featured in NXT for years and still doesnt know how to do it. GO watch her MiTB match. She actively avoids having to sell in that match. I agree she hasnt buried anyone but that's because she isn't in NXT anymore, where she would do so routinely. Her match with Jade, she should be the one carrying that match, obviously. Jade is absolute garbage, but Roxanne made that match worse with her own shit. The chop blocks? The strikes? Not to mention every time she was put in a powermove she seemed to be fighting going with it. She's just not good. I haven't even mentioned here in ability to cut a promo. Her last stint in NXT to tried to give her more mic time. She doesnt even know how to hold the mic properly and speaks in a whisper. She has a ton of work to do because she doesnt have a single element that makes her stand out.

As for the rest about Roxanne, yeah I mostly agree on paper, except that she does stand out despite those shortcomings, because she's just fun to watch. She's still young, but she really has some potential, she sucks on the mic right now imo, but she nonetheless has undeniable charisma. I kinda fast forwarded the Jade match, but Jade is really the shits, 10/10 looks, 0/10 work, so I dunno, I wouldn't put everything in there on Roxanne. She's like 22 or 23, I think that in 3-5 years she'll be really good but she's entertaining so far. Definitely doesn't have go away heat with me.

Her character work is solid even if she has areas of improvement everywhere, is basically my take on her. The spunky attitude works and she's obviously a good athlete and at least decently smart. Most wrestlers never figure the personality they can develop and stay low carders for life, but she already has it and it works. I don't really see her wanting to be a dominant force as you describe, or at least I'd interpret it differently, but I don't follow much outside of the show itself tbqh.
