So I've just started to watch Eastern Championship Wrestling, hardcore TV from April 6th, 1993.

Honestly? The same stuff you could see watching USWA around the same time. Except instead of Jerry Lawler you’ll see Eddie Gilbert doing a Jerry Lawler impersonation. Guys on the way down from WWF instead of guys on the way up to WWF. Proto-ECW guys with gimmicks they hate and haven’t gotten to change yet (Tommy Dreamer, Sandman,Sabu, Taz) and haven’t really learned to work yet. 100 percent less Jeff Jarrett. A few good Gilbert vs. Funk matches with Funk as a babyface. Prime Nancy Benoit. Not really a lot worth watching except as a weird pre ECW relic.

>96 is the best year. raven/sandman is the best ecw feud, sandman gets mommy dommed by missy hyatt, scorpio/sabu and scorpio/shane are two of the best ecw matches ever, rvd comes in,
