I'm a Fujita defender to an extent but even if I wasn't, his clear and utter disregard for how his opponent will look coming out of a match is almost admirable.

And finally, I'm closing out on a somber note with a handful of webms of the three-minute exhibition match Fujita Jr. Hayato had against Hiromu on a recent Michinoku Pro show. It's the first time he's wrestled in just about a year and a half since his cancer came back.

I mean, I suppose his issue wasn't CTE. Yet. Somehow.

Pretty impressive to turn a guy purple in like two minutes.

I'm sure it's at least primarily a work but seeing Hayato collapse clutching his back like this hurt. It's such a tragic story. I really hope he recovers fully because there was a while there where it seemed he was fully back and he was firing on all cylinders plus one. He's absolutely one of my all-time favorites and just getting three minutes was more than I'd ever dare hope for. Definitely one of the most exciting things to happen in 2025 for me.

And on that bittersweet note I have to leave you with a bittersweet message of my own. That's all for me this thread, and also likely all you'll see of me until August. I'll be on vacation and I won't have the time to watch and clip wrestling the way I'd want to in time to get threads going, nor will I be spending those weekends at home with a computer at hand. I might be around next week, but I don't want to make promises I can't keep. Either way you'll see me in August with the end of the SOUL tour as well as the first eight nights of the G1 Climax, and then the other companies will come along as I find the time to catch up.
