Because recent WWE signings have reminded AEW fans that many wrestlers accept literally being paid less money just to be able to tell people they made it to the big leagues. She went from world champ in AEW to working house shows in NXT for less money than what AEW offered her just because being in WWE was her dream. It's a grim reminder for AEW that they will never have the same mystique for wrestlers that WWE has, being able to say you're in WWE is enough to make a wrestler be willing to be paid less and be stuck jobbing in the midcard.
