You can either have max look or max promo and just print money. Wrestling only needs to be average. A guy like Magnum TA was a 10/10 look and everything else average. Dusty Rhodes was a 10/10 promo and average look average wrestler. Your not getting over unless you have look or promo, wrestling alone won’t cut it

10 promo and look is literally all that matters. You can be complete dogshit in the ring, and it wouldn't matter whatsoever. Cena was borderline abysmal in the ring for years and he's treated like the greatest wrestler of all time.

In the context of a territory, looks are slightly less important. And if it’s interpreted that wrestling ability also means just the ability to work psychologically and put a match together and not just pure technical moverino skill it’s

I want this guy to have great promos but I don’t want his promos to be so good he doesn’t feel like he needs to improve in ring
Also they need to be able to work both face and heel and promo is the best metric to grade that flexibility

There's absolutely a minimum floor to be a top draw in wrestling and it damn sure isn't 1. It's probably 4 for the majority of the industry and you can maybe get away with being a 3 if you're a Giant, which is I would say is a double digit look buff.
The people unironically thinking you can get away with being a 0-1 and put all of your stats into promos may as well have Jim Cornette as the Eternal Grand Champion of Professional Wrestling.
