Vince Russo would've taken us in the wrong direction. There's a reason why Russo is a radioactive persona non grata for wrestling companies, it's because he's a toxic person that won't take any job because he knows he would fail and be exposed for the out of touch old geezer he currently is, because he, Vince McMahon and Eric Bischoff can't relate to the Millennials the same way Shawn Michaels does.

Brian Gerwirtz is the face of mediocrity and I can't stand seeing him talk on WWE documentaries. They only use him in documentaries because they need a writer's perspective and don't want to use Russo. Gerwirtz is the guy behind like 20 years of mediocrity and boring writing throughout all of the 2000s

Vince and the rest of the booking team were always there to make sure that Main Eventers wouldn't be in dreadful feuds but the rest of the cards was given any garbage Russo had in his mind.

WCW 99/2000 is what WWF 98/99 would have been without Vince, the worst weekly wrestling show in history in a landslide.
