The male vocals version of his theme is the best. Heโ€™s ok but heโ€™s Reddit incarnate at aew.

One of the GOATs. Also one of the first guys to have the balls to say fuck WWE and go make a name for himself outside of it beyond the Attitude Era. The significance of him going to TNA can't be understated and truthfully may be the reason they're still alive today. Dude's an unbelievably talented worker. Great character and promo work as well. He never quite had that starpower to him unfortunately but he's had about as good as career as half the guys who did. Thanks for his career Edge

He was over as hell to the point that they edited his crowd reaction against Batista and had to add Jericho to his Summerslam match with Cena just so the crowd wouldn't boo John on PPV. Oh and he was outselling John Cena's new album. Blow me

I don't know if they had something planned with Cope before he got injured but there was something weird about that whole thing.

The fans really wanted him to cash it in on Mox but it's like AEW realized they wrote themselves into a corner and had to deus ex machina themselves right back out of it.

Yeah I think it was the latter. I don't think this Mox run was planned to go nearly as long as it has and we all know how Tony books by now. I'm guessing there were plans to get the world title involved with Edge and Christian at one point but since Tony's so fixated on his Darby and Mox moment they had to skip over it since the Toronto show is coming up and that's likely where their reunion will be
