>This is the temper tantrum of a grown man/"reformed Christian"

There's a reason why he never changed it from "sexy boy", as he was still a boy even in his 40's.

My favorite story is the hulkster supposedly not realizing it was all overselling and saying something along the lines of "finally someone's selling like they're supposed to"

I just realised why he did this: Shawn Michaels can't shoot on ANYBODY. Hogan, as old and busted as he was even at that time, probably would've easily slapped down Michaels.

Based Hogan flexing his backstage power. Why would a skinny beanpole like HBK ever go over the great Hulk Hogan? It wouldn’t be believable. Hogan drew, HBK didn’t.

Deep down, him and Bret know the Golden Era guys were better. Bret and Shawn were in the lower card back then, they know, and it eats their workrate brains up.

The Hulkster doesn't strike me as a guy who'd fight
He always used underhanded tactics and politicking to get what he wanted
Guys like Brock just got what they wanted by being legit intimidating

Has anybody tried to throw hands with Hogan? I'm pretty sure Hogan would fight back and try to talk the other person down because of his size advantage.

Oh that's right, but I don't know if that's definitive because it could've been one of those "alright just lay me out for that one, brother" moments like when Vince basically allowed Bret to punch him after Bret verbally warned Vince he would if he didn't leave.

>Bret Hart was supposed to uh lose to Shawn Michaels I think Wrestlemania whatever the hell it was you know uh 16 or 17. I don't know. Where all the fans were yelling, Bret screwed Bret. Bret told Vince McMahon I'm not losing to Shawn Michaels in Canada and they went out there and Shawn Michaels pulled a fast one on Bret and held him down and pinned him and Bret couldn't do anything about it. The so-called excellence of execution that was supposed to be the greatest wrestler of all time, little teeny Shawn Michaels held him down and embarrassed him. Bret Hart was being a horse's ass saying he wouldn't lose the match, and Shawn Michaels pinned him anyway.

I think it's two things, Hulk sees wrestling as a big cartoon and actually enjoyed Shawn's selling, and/or he's basically always working and won't let Shawn get one over him by admitting it annoyed him. Nothing in the match really shows that Hogan is upset either way.
