>TNA Wrestling has some lofty goals for a potentially huge television deal for iMPACT.

>Anthem Sports President Carlos Silva recently spoke with JohnWallStreet. While discussing the current partnership between TNA and WWE, Silva revealed that Anthem is looking for a new television deal for TNA iMPACT that would see the brand go live 52 weeks a year.

>“We are [regularly] being featured on every major WWE and NXT platform. PLEs as well as weekly programming on The CW and their other [broadcast] outlets like Peacock,” Carlos Silva said. “This [has resulted in] a huge [television] audience lift for [us], along with all the social media support we get from [them].

>“A new media rights deal will help us build a more consistent fan base with larger reach. It will also provide us the opportunity to go live 52 weeks a year, and in today's world live matters [in terms of fan interest and revenues].”

>Silva would go on to reveal that the company is currently looking for a deal within the $10 million a year range for iMPACT.

>“Something in the $10mm/year range is where we [and CAA] think we should be,” Carlos Silva said. “We're talking to [all the established] linear guys and a couple of newer platforms that need a foundational [programming] centerpiece. There are a couple of networks that look like Spike [TV] in today’s world, we could be a good fit for, the same way [UFC and TNA were for that network a decade or two ago].”

>Finally, Silva stated that they are confident that iMPACT have a new distribution deal in place in the next two months. This would be a huge step up for the company as a majority of homes in the United States don’t get AXS TV.

I think Roku would be a good fit. NWA is on there now but I'm sure they didn't have the pull to make it an exclusive deal.

There's enough young wrestlers who are on their way to WWE, and enough guys who got let go from WWE but are still good, that they can fill a company.

Well not RIGHT now, but the deal is in place, and new episodes will be on the Roku channel starting later this month.

With today's cable landscape. And every channel turning into a sports one. Since that's the only thing that draws in cable. I'm surprised TNA hasn't been already snatched by one of them. They can definitely pull 200k. Which in today's TV ratings. That's a solid number.

They were pulling 100k on AXS at one point. I can see them getting to 200k. In a none dogshit channel. I was going to say TruTV. Since they're shifting to sports. But it's own by WBD which has AEW.

Yeah, the second WWE is no longer on cable, I'm unsubscribing from YouTube TV. I'm curious to see how the cable bundle evolves, with Comcast, WBD, and now potentially A&E all spinning off or selling their cable channels.

The article is literally just quoting what Carlos Silva said. That has nothing to do with Nick Khan.

Been watching regularly since the NXT crossover stuff started. I tend to really like their big shows, but Impact can be whatever. There's some good wrestling, but some of the segments can be pretty cringe in my opinion. Also their roster was already pretty thin, and they lost some really big names this year. So I can't say everything is great for TNA, but partnering with WWE has helped them a lot, and I think Slammiversary will be a good show.
