aew by a country mile, no one cares about oldberg retiring and seff's knee exploded yet again, and if no one talked about great american bash then did it really happened at all?

This is correct.
>>18233961
>aew is an indie promotion that is leagues below WWE
This is also correct.
Meditate on that. Once you understand why both of these things are true, you might understand the problem AEW has and how insurmountable said problem is as long as Tony Khan is involved.

AEW was clearly the better show this time even if very little has been shaken up, whilst WWE may have just fucked up their plans for the rest of the year and fucked up the retirement speech the whole show was built around

I sat through 7 hours of AEW's slop. No idea what WWE did, but it can't be that bad.

I will meditate on that however, if anyone other than a billionaire founded a wrestling company, would it not be an underdog indie. On the same page, if a billionaire founded a wrestling company and just copied WWE, would it not be lambasted for being a rip-off?

Why is wwe running a ppv at the exact same time as aew?

Competition? They are scared of them?

Honestly, I was watching AEW and I didn't expect it to go as long as it did. Fantastic show.

I did want to see Goldberg's retirement match. Did he give a good retirement speech?

Accessibility. Both in terms of story and in terms of actually watching the show.
"No one watches AEW" is not an insult, it's a fact. Despite many of their shows apparently being fairly good. Tony is the problem.

I wholeheartedly agree.
Even though Collision gets jack shit for views, I feel like we got a wrestling-centric show out of it as the silver lining.

Depends on the billionaire.
Pro-wrestling is a circus. Only a carnie can run a successful circus.
That billionaire should not try to copy WWE, but try to copy Vince McMahon. Outside and inside the ring. Ruthless aggression.
Tony is the problem.

I watched TNA for many years when they were the closest thing to a number two company. Literally all constructive criticism was this:

>TNA should establish their own identity and be a viable alternative.
>Here's how to do it.
>Make EC3 be the John Cena of the company
>Here's 9 other ways to be exactly like WWE because I want them to be completely different but my stupid brain gets confused if it's any different.
