Having a feels good moment for ol' Dusty was the only way to salvage that match after Cole wasn't cleared. If they want to make Kyle's first singles title matter winning it in a heatless last minute 4-way wouldn't work, but taking it off Dusty will make for good heel heat.

Soft reset. Kyle will get more heat destroying the old man in 1v1 who just had a feel good moment, and then Sammy either has a short revenge feud with Kyle or turns on Dustin himself for neglecting the tag gold to chase singles gold.
