>>18237591 (OP) >tony just made up a 28th belt reminder there's 7 belts in aew that have absolutely nothing to do with wrestling like the chainsaw massacre belt
You only get the Unified Title if you own Continental and International titles at the same time.
If Okada loses 1 he loses the Unified Belt.
You need both pieces combined to make the Unified. Its a fresh concept and a lot better then some Speed or 24/7 bullshit belts.
Okada now has the most prestigious title in the world now. Ichiban A+ #1

>>18237622 The problem is 10 is already too much and AEW wrestlers frequently win ROH straps and titles from other promotions. No one cares about the women's midcard, that's why they gave the belt to Mone as a placeholder for the world title and 6-man belts are redundant, just do Free Bird Rules.
>>18237591 (OP) You get the Unified Title when you have both, but due to Continental rules the Continental title is only on the line for the first 20 minutes. So if someone pins Okader 25 minutes in to a match he wins the international title and Okader loses both the International and Unified title. Simple as.
>>18237622 Most of WWE's number comes from there being several different brands. RAW, Smackdown, NXT, and Evolve all have a world champ for men and women, for example. It's a lot, but it's intuitive. AEW has numerous redundant titles in terms of their place on the card on one brand. Obviously the ROH titles are excluded from this.
