People get paid to fake fight. It's not fake in that it doesn't hurt, it's fake in that it's predetermined winners and losers and the wrestlers "work" is to make it look like stuff hurts but it doesn't. The punches don't hurt, the tumbling around the mat and taking "bumps" (falling down) does hurt for real.
