He did everything you're supposed to do, and he did it better than anyone else, and he got shit on a lot. By a not-quite-as-good literal faggot who was fucking Vince so always got his way, by a manufactured shitter like Hogan who backstaged him in two companies, by a green shitter who ultimately wasn't that over (chants were piped in) who cost him the final years of his career and millions of dollars. Meme all you want but being sincere for a moment, who wouldn't be bitter? Fans should be bitter, we could have gotten an HBK style second run and we didn't for the sake of a jew.

Hogan wasn't manufactured. You could argue he wasn't the second coming but he had a cunty mind for the business. Bret probably would've been fine after Goldberg's kick if he took time off

He was over because the machine was behind him, and that same machine could have gotten behind any number of guys. Nobody can tell me with a straight face that you couldn't have gotten Randy Savage over the same or more with the same or less push.

I disagree. If you're talking about the early 80s Hogan was the most over guy organically. No one else at that time would've had the acumen to be in that spot to begin with, but that's behind the scenes. Up front, 6'7'' and 305lbs of Hulk Hogan coming out to Eye of the Tiger and working the crowd about his Hulkamania bullshit was lightning in a bottle. Right time, right place, right guy, right culture. No offense to Randy, but he was never that guy

Comparing how over he was in AWA to the Hulkamania post-Vince over is like trying to compare Seth Rollins to 1998 Austin. Disingenuous. I'm sure he sold out a lot of territory shows and shared a ring with somebody over in Japan, but that's orthogonal to the point here.

Hogan, in WWF, was 100% manufactured. That doesn't mean he'd be a jobber, but they could have put that same muscle behind a lot of other guys and gotten a similar result. He wasn't in that spot because he was the best wrestler or the best body or the best talker, because he wasn't any of that.

Hogan being red hot already and moving to WWF and pinning Sheik for the world title was a "stars aligned" moment that turned into the big bang when Hogan beat Andre at Wrestlemania. sure he had the corporation's backing he was their chosen guy, but to ignore his own merits is just straight foolish. Bret couldn't have been that guy or Randy. Ted Dibiase couldn't have been that guy or VIRGIL. I can't imagine anyone but Hulk Hogan being the guy when the hammer struck the anvil in that bubble of time brother!!

nta but momentum accumulates if you strike while the iron is hot. and the iron was hot. look what happened in Luger kek. his presence in media and the fact that he was such an icon that grannies in Somalia knew who he was is all you need to know he wasn't some upper midcard talent. he had that x factor

It's true because it is self evident. If you can't recognize the truth in a statement like "Hogan wasn't the best wrestler", it's you're demonstrably retarded and getting progressively angry that someone is speaking the truth to you instead of placating you in your tard rages.

That's putting the cart before the horse. Grannies in Somalia might have recognized him, but because of a years long full court press media blitz to make it so. Give that same to Randy Savage and the skinnies would know him just the same. Might as well deny that Disney has something to do with Mickey Mouse being so recognizable, and that Mickey Cat wouldn't have worked at all.

Well at least you recognized your original argument was utterly retarded and you're trying to deflect by pretending you said this instead. That's progress. It means you've recognized the stupidity of what you said, but you're just too stubborn to admit it.

your argument doesn't make sense within itself. Luger or Randy wouldn't have been that big. WWF didn't make Hogan over outside WWF. they brought him in and he was already mega over, and clearly the right man for the job. had Randy been in that position? lol? sure? what if pigs flew? he wasn't. and that's why he's Randy Savage, and Hulk Hogan is Hulk Hogan. the ceiling was just higher

I think the reason you want to argue is that you're legitimately retarded, or at least very low IQ, and so you aren't very good at reading comprehension. You read something like "manufactured" and you don't really know what it means, so you start sperging and fagging over it as you've done here. "Oh yeah well he sold out five rows in AWA so now what!?", the whole point of contention is based on your being kind of dumb. This is why I outgrew wrestling and generally avoid talking to wrestling fans, 99% of you are like this.

it's not a good hypothetical because it puts Randy in Hogan's boots. not in the "manufacturing" sense, but as he was coming into the company, before your alleged manufacturing. had Randy or Luger or Bam Bam Bigelow pinned Sheik for the title and then gone over Andre they would've been huge, but not Hulkamania huge. and I don't appreciate your condescension

I only condescend because the people on this board are so demonstrably less than me, and most of you struggle to make it through an entire sentence before you forget the context and start fagging out again.

We'll never know. I disagree, and I think Bret does too, which was the original point before the gaggle of retards here took a break from gay fanfiction to make their bad reading comprehension a point of contention for an hour.

I'm not Bret, but I understand where he's coming from. Retards won't and can't, which is why it mystifies 99% of the IWC, but to be great and still saddled with this or that problem purely because of lessers is a bitter pill to swallow. No matter what you do you're at the mercy of the bottom rung, people who are barely even people, whether that be half literate obesity jeets arguing in memes, or roided up jews ruining the body and career of someone actually worth a damn.

I think Bret might've managed to keep rasslin and gotten a nice retirement feud/match with HBK or whomever in WWE if he didn't keep working immediately after the kick. working sloppy and getting concussed several more times will mess you up worse than a single botched kick which if I'm being honest didn't even deck him in the temple
