Probably to eliminate any unneeded risk of them getting hurt. Look at Rollins and Liv. Not that they were champions but shit can happen to anyone at any point over the smallest shit. No use jeopardizing a big ppv match for a pointless weekly one

Except back when Liv was champion they had her wrestling dark matches after Smackdown instead of just having regular matches on Raw, including a dark match the night before a major ppv match against Rhea. Triple H is just retarded.

Do we know if Iyo was working through an injury? Most wrestlers are to some extent or another at any given time. Her booking with the belt definitely raised some flags. I have to imagine there was some sort of reason behind it
