AEW took NJPW's best talent despite being "partners". NJPW relied on Tana/Okada/Naito too long and didn't train enough young lions.

This is the actual issue. Tana & Okada traded the belt back and forth for over a decade. The only people who held it other than them was Kenny, Jay White, AJ & Kojima. Naito only got his run in 2020 and it was way too late, his body was done. NJPW don't understand the idea of giving people any time off and it does nothing but hurt them. AEW didn't force them to not build new stars and shit up the main event with EVIL & HoT for a year straight.
