Cornette is the guy who was over with the boys and slaved for wrestling magazines since the age of 14. He never drew a dime though. And is a terrible booker and promoter. Had a few good years but then wrestling moved on and he didn't.
He's a dime black hole so he hates the hulkster

him ripping up Hogan after hearing another one of his outlandish lies were some of the best Cornette content. That along with the Meltzer Alvarez argument reactions were the only worthwhile shit, the AEW videos are the same shit over and over because AEW never changed from doing the same shitty awful shit and all the major shakeups with WWE/Vince have settled and there is nothing big to talk about there.

it'd be interesting to see if he acknowledges him as one of the most important wrestlers of all time or if he'll double on his opinion of him as the phony cancer that killed his beloved version of wrasslin

He went back and watched the Rock vs Hogan WMX8 match after having never seen it despite being in attendance for the podcast and had to admit Hogan's charisma and star power is 10X anyone in today's wrestling

Cornette never denies his popularity or impact. He just also calls him a liar and a not so good wrestler.

Jim was never over, almost all of the real money he made in the business is right now in podcasting.

People need to understand, Hogan was considered evil by southern wrasslin fans. Hogan was everything they hated.

He'll do a 2 hour overview of his career sprinkled with short jabs at him supporting Blumph and racial views.
