A white guy who was born in the 50s wasn't thrilled that his daughter was consorting with a black guy, and he expressed his feelings in what he thought was a private conversation. Also, what Hulk said in what was, again, supposed to be a private setting and context, isn't a fraction as hateful as what many black people say about white people, openly and unapologetically, on the street, on the internet, even in church.

I, and I don't think I'm alone here, am fatigued by this shit. One group gets to idle at being offended by everything and ashamed of nothing, while another group is expected to be paragons of patience and tolerance, who never stumble. Make it make sense.
