I like how WWE has stories. It even makes me care about guys I don't normally care about. AEW seems like a lot of random matches and if I'm not a fan of a specific guy, it's not worth watching.

stay in your lane pig, you can't understand stories unless they get spoon-fed to you.
For instance if you paid attention you'd notice that Hangman's story has masterfully avoided being on-the-nose like the slop you're used to, instead unfolding with subtle emotional depth and long-term storytelling. His arc from anxious, self-doubting babyface to a bitter, aggressive heel was gradual and rooted in personal conflict with Swerve, not just crowd reaction. Now, in his redemption, he carries forward the edge and intensity of his darker phase, but channels it through the lens of honor and loyalty blending the best traits of both face and heel into something uniquely authentic.
Do you have the capacity to see that in real time? No? then stay a pig.

But anon. What if we take 8 guys you don't give a shit about and put them all into one big match together? :D

What story? Random Samoan family member makes "surprise" intro? Old hero turns into bitter old man, tries to work the crowd by waving at the camera?
I can't even tell you half the other stories since they're so boring

As an AEW fan and big defender of them in 2023 and 2024 this talking point is circling around again to being true. It seem's AEW's peak in storytelling is going to be when they had Hangman/Swerve and Toni/Mariah going. Right now the only compelling story being told is the Edge and Christian reunion

That's just wrestling anon. There's usually only ever one or two genuinely interesting stories going on at any one time and everything else is just your standard wrestling stuff like 'I want your title' or 'you're not my friend anymore'
