>When you think of the words greatest fighter in the world, who comes to mind? For GLEAT president Hiroyuki Suzuki, the answer is none other than Parker Boudreaux.

>In late 2024, Boudreaux spoke on the left turn from a collegiate football career to the beginning of his wrestling journey, how he’d been hyped by some of wrestling’s all-time greats, and how it felt to be compared to Brock Lesnar.

>Parker Boudreaux spoke with SlamWrestling.net again recently to share his recent experiences in Japan. “In the small time of me touring over there, four or five times now, I just never thought that [Suzuki] would recognize it that quickly. So I’m super grateful for him.”

>Boudreaux isn’t letting the success and praise get to his head, staying as humble as he can be through it all. “The biggest wrestlers are the ones that treat people like every other person. Yeah, so I just got to keep it rolling. And I’m grateful for all the opportunities right now, especially for GLEAT and all of these other companies that are booking me in the US.”

>Wrestling has taken Boudreaux all over the world, from WWE, AEW, Mexico’s AAA, and he is a regular presence in Japan’s GLEAT. He always makes sure he makes a lasting impression wherever he is.

>But that worldwide success hasn’t made him comfortable. He hasn’t stopped pushing himself. “I help out the little buddies after I’m done with all my stuff,” he said. “While I’m in the US, I just try to stay booked on Friday and Saturday, either doing a seminar or, doing a match for a promotion that I could always have practice in, because I’m still new to pro wrestling.”

>“I’m trying to spread as much information as possible that could be resourceful to the younger group.”

>It’s that curiosity and constant desire to get better that’s brought him this far.

>This year has also seen him attain a goal that he’d set out to win a belt, reaping the fruits of the seeds he’s been sowing. He accomplished that by becoming the Nation of Championship Wrestling’s new champion on June 6th. He wrestled Dorian Vain and won the All World Championship in Memphis. It’s not unrealistic to expect him to win more belts through his career.

>“I’m still learning every single day.”

>As someone who’s spent time in major promotions, Boudreaux’s unsure of what’s keeping him from being signed to one right now. As such, he’s making sure he leaves nothing up to chance.

>“I go to every single company every single weekend, you know, indie show wise or similar, and they [say], ‘How are you not signed by somebody? How?’ Yeah, they’re just blown away, I don’t know either,” Boudreaux reflected. “So that’s why I’ve been doing so much work on every single thing. My promos, my character work, my wrestling ability, getting different forms of wrestling in [lucha] style, Japanese style, independent style.”

>Boudreaux isn’t one to be satisfied until he gets what he wants. And nobody’s going to stop him.
