Wanna know the truth? Triple H/WWE encourages this. They did it with Kross, too, and LA Knight. Lean into the allegations, make people believe you're being held down. Then eventually you will ''break through'' with the crowd behind you. It started with Daniel Bryan. WWE aren't stupid.

The problem is he and others who do this think it’s good and that they’re indulging fans but somehow don’t realize that wrestling fans are the last people you should be indulging

Melo is solid but his big ego (small) black guy gimmick isn't enough. There are other guys who do it better, who are bigger, who are better in the ring and/or on the mic. If he could find himself and find some gimmick that's unique to him he could get somewhere. Like Sharkboy.

melo is in an awkward spot on the card where there are better flippy black guys above him (montez ford) and below him (je’von evans) so he’s never gonna be the one they get behind.
